Esen has worked in the field of trauma since 1997 with individuals, families, groups and communities. This work has been at the level of direct care and also through secondary consultation, policy and program development, support and training. A specialist focus for Esen is the area of sexual assault and developmental trauma. Esen also has a special interest in dissociative disorders and complex trauma.

Qualified and experienced as a Mental Health Social worker, Esen currently works in private practice Monday, Wednesday afternoon, Thursday-Online only, Friday and Saturday.

Esen has specialist training as a Family Therapist, in Somatic Experiencing, Havening and EMDR. Esen draws upon her breadth of experience, training and different approaches to tailor support for each individual.

Esen is able to provide supervision, training and consultation to groups as well as individuals.
